Illinois’ monthly medical cannabis sales dropped about $4 million from January to February, the biggest drop yet. Medical cannabis sales have had steady growth since their launch in 2016, but there have been a few sales drops here and there, noticeably between January to February 2019 (remember the Polar Vortex?) and September to October 2019. But, the overall trendline is of massive growth, from $2.9 million in sales in August 2016 to $27.4 million in January 2020, a 960% growth rate.
