Part [part not set] of 2 in the series Missouri License Owners

If you wanted to know which Missouri dispensary licenses are controlled by whom, we couldn’t tell you for sure. That’s because Missouri, like Illinois and unlike Michigan, does not make public the ownership structure of cannabis licenses issued by the state. Two weeks ago we set out to better understand the landscape when we published a list of Missouri cultivation sites and the owners we could identify. Today, we are publishing a list of 56 dispensary license owners we could identify through public records and news reports.

This list is far from complete. Some business owners have managed to keep themselves well hidden, and for every company listed below there are likely many minority owners that remain undisclosed. There are also dozens of dispensary licenses we could not identify or confirm ownership. What you see here is what we believe to be correct.

While there numerous multi-state operators are listed, such as Verano, Columbia Care, C3, Grassroots, Justice Grown, Harvest, Terrapin, and Holistic Industries, there are many more Missouri-based companies and independents. Clearly, it is a diverse group.
