At least four suits have been filed in Illinois demanding courts overturn disqualification of craft grow and transporter applicants from license lotteries. The suits, requesting administrative law review, come within a 35-day window for such requests, after state regulators issued final decisions on license status on August 17.

The four teams suing the Illinois Department of Agriculture in Cook County Circuit Court for reinstatement, GP LLC, Prairie State Cannabis LLC, Cannabus LLC, and AG Pharm LLC all allege they submitted required application information to the state after receiving a deficiency notice, but regulators did not take into consideration the new, submitted information.

Hearing dates have not yet been set for the cases.
