Very little has changed since recreational use became legal in Illinois on January 1. While states like Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York have contemplated full legalization, state legislatures’ traditional spring sessions have been stymied by Coronavirus concerns, slowing down progress. Washington State might see decriminalization on the ballot this November, although it’s hard to collect signatures to put things on the ballot in the age of Coronavirus.
