There was little new to report from the Michigan Marijuana Regulatory Agency, according to Director Andrew Brisbo’s quarterly public meeting, conducted last Thursday on Zoom. The agency introduced a new head of enforcement, Julie Kluytman, a former intelligence analyst with the Michigan State Police, and announced plans to send out in October a request for feedback from licensees on the Metrc seed-to-sale tracking system. In addition, Brisbo reminded the 115 attendees that the week of September 28 is the final week of allowed caregiver sales to dispensaries.

“The timing is good,” said Brisbo, since more cultivation facilities have recently come on line.
